April Fools

This year April fools was uneventful.  Brit and I spent most of the time doing homework.  Last years April fools, however, was quite interesting...

General Conference weekend.  I was visiting my parents home to watch conference.  After the Sunday morning 10 a.m. session, I get a phone call from Britain.  At that time, we had established that we were dating, boyfriend-girlfriend; whatever you'd like to call it.  We had joked about taking our picture in front of the Salt Lake Temple as engagement photos as joke.

Our boss had been pestering us since August about hooking up.  So we had pulled a fake engagement already and thought throwing a picture in would be great. Plus, the date on the fake invitation was April 1, 2007.  Naturally, I drove downtown immediately and we had the chance to watch general conference in the Tabernacle.  It was a good time.  Afterward, we took photos in front of the Salt Lake Temple.

That is an April fools to remember.

Okay, the wife has to make a correction. We were not boyfriend-girlfriend yet. We were dating pretty heavily last April 1st, but we didn't have the DTR to determine if we were BF&GF until April 17th. And I do not give my approval for that picture, I've had better looking days.
